Whether you are Christian or not, Ash Wednesday is a time to embrace our humility about our place in the wide universe, a time to reflect on what is important given the short span of our lives, and a chance to witness to the miracles our Higher Power can perform in our recovery by turning the ashes in our lives into beauty.
