This program is about one day at time, learning to let a little more of that shame melt away into the care of God. It is ok to embrace God’s gift of joy in a difficult time. It is acceptable to laugh, to smile, and to experience joy as people in recovery. We can take the work of recovery seriously, but we don’t have to always take ourselves so seriously. It is about letting lives become transformed and discovering that there is freedom from the bondage of addiction.”
