What we expect is most often what we see. The same is true of our expectations of God. If we hold a stern, judgmental, punishing picture of God are we really able to trust God enough to turn our life and will over to that power greater than ourselves.
What turns out to be important is our decision to turn our lives and will over to God’s care and show our willingness to risk and to trust God. May your vision of God be one that creates beauty in your life and emboldens you to bring beauty into the lives of others.
