The death of Philip Seymour Hoffman has continued to earn the spotlight. It’s sad and difficult to read and hear as the facts unfold, but I do think it’s an important cautionary tale, and I’m glad it continues to receive attention. Fortunately, I also ran across this article in the New York Times. It is a story of hope and triumph over heroin addiction, and I think that’s just as important to share as we collectively search for strength as we address the addiction epidemic. Treatment works!
