We’re Happy You’re Here
The number 12 has so much importance to those seeking recovery. It's why we are spending 12 days sharing the many wonderful things that make Cumberland Heights a vital place for those struggling with substance use. We're grateful for your support.
What is Paving The Road to Recovery?
Thank you for joining our fundraising and educational initiative Paving the Road to Recovery! Our hope is to reach as many people in the community as possible – and those outside Middle Tennessee too – highlighting our mission, sharing stories from our 54 years as an addiction treatment center, and educating participants about substance use disorder. While the addiction epidemic is a major problem in the United States today, anyone, including you can be a part of the solution, helping pave the road to recovery.

“Our disease thrives in isolation and we recover in community.”
There is a saying, “Our disease thrives in isolation and we recover in community.” COVID-19 has created the perfect accelerant to addiction. Even though traditional fundraising events have had to be canceled, the need for driving our mission and the cost to support our programs during the pandemic have increased significantly. Also because of job and insurance loss, more people now require assistance from scholarships to acquire treatment.

Thank You For Supporting Cumberland Heights
As we do in many of our gatherings, we would like to close today with the “Serenity Prayer.” These simple yet powerful words have played an important role in many recoveries and will for more to come.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
