God Gave us the Gift of Freedom, Self-will

Sunday Sermon: God gave us the gift of freedom, self-will

God gave human beings wonderful gifts from the very beginning. The first gift was the gift of life itself, a gift so sacred and so valuable that humankind was to treasure and respect it always. The second gift is one which has proved to be the most problematic for human beings. God gave us the gift of freedom, self-will. And the third gift reflected in the reading is the gift of community. Humans need companionship. We need to be relationship with God’s creation.

Scripture text is Genesis 2: 1-22
