As Christmas comes quickly this year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the story of Mary, the woman who bore the Christ child. We see that God can choose and use any of us to serve the world and to bring light into it. We also reflect on Mary’s song of praise, which speaks to God fulfilling God’s promises to Israel, and we read this in concert with the promises of our recovery. We look forward with joyful anticipation not only to Christmas day, but also to the promises of recovery blooming in our lives.
