Everyone has a specific narrative that they have lived through. No matter what your economic background, race, religion, politics or social demographic is, each one of us has experienced a wide range of the human experience. Happiness, joy, pleasure, fear, shame, guilt, hatred or love, we are all human. At times, these differences can divide us, blinded by external appearances, it is not uncommon to separate ourselves into our “tribes” that create the illusion of safety and control.

Addiction is a disease of the body, the mind and of the spirit. It is also a disease of isolation. Driven by self-destructive behaviors, circumstance and grace lead individuals who suffer from addiction to treatment. Often the last house on the block, ARCH Academy serves as a place of rectitude.

ARCH Academy welcomes those who have walked through the darkness, in the pit of despair and seeking freedom from substance abuse. The ties that bind us are through struggle rather than image.

Through experience rather than cultural distinctions. Through differences rather than likeness. ARCH Academy staff is a mix of people who work collectively, as a team with a common mission to offer hope and healing to adolescents and families suffering from addiction. ARCH Academy staff work together as a team, demonstrating our core values that honor our history and traditions by:

  • Always putting the resident first.
  • Providing the highest quality care throughout our continuum of services.
  • Recognizing the principles embodied in the 12-Steps as the essential foundation of lasting recovery.
  • Providing a physical and therapeutic environment conducive to the transforming power of a spiritual awakening.
  • Valuing the importance of family participation in the recovery process.
  • Remaining grateful for those who support our mission and share our passion for recovery.
  • Demonstrating the same care and respect for our employees they show for our residents.

“The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution. We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action.”– Alcoholics Anonymous
