Dr. Chapman Sledge is a board-certified physician with over 30 years of experience in addiction medicine and family practice. As Chief Medical Officer of Cumberland Heights since 2009, he provides medical leadership for one of the nation’s most respected residential addiction treatment programs.
Before joining Cumberland Heights, Dr. Sledge served for 15 years as Medical Director of Addiction Treatment Services at Pine Grove Behavioral Health in Mississippi. He is a former board member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and was part of the first cohort of physicians certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Sledge regularly presents at national conferences and serves on the Medical/Scientific Committee of the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence (NCADD). His medical expertise, combined with a passion for whole-person healing, makes him a trusted voice in addiction medicine.
