Cheri Littlefield joined Cumberland Heights in 2025 as a Mental Health Therapist, providing EMDR and trauma therapy for patients in the Extended Care and Professional Programs, as well as mental health support across campus. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University South Bend.
Cheri brings extensive experience in both clinical and administrative roles within community mental health and private practice settings. Since her EMDR training in 2018, she has integrated trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, into her person-centered practice. Her passion for addiction treatment began early in her career while working with adolescents in residential care, later expanding into work with clients in the criminal justice system.
New to Tennessee, Cheri enjoys exploring the state’s parks, waterfalls, and trails. A lover of beach views, sunrises, and sunsets, she also treasures time with her niece and nephews, whether adventuring or simply having fun together.
