Primary Counselor

Chuck Anderson serves as a Residential Counselor in the Men’s Program at Cumberland Heights, joining the team in 2025. With a passion for supporting individuals in early recovery, Chuck helps guide patients as they stabilize, rebuild, and reconnect with their goals for long-term healing.

He holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Addiction and became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in 2024. Prior to joining Cumberland Heights, Chuck worked in peer-based recovery support and received clinical training in evidence-based modalities including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care. His professional approach is rooted in both his education and his own journey in long-term recovery.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Chuck lives in the Nashville area with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading, and continuing his study of psychology, recovery, and personal growth. He’s passionate about helping others rediscover purpose and resilience through treatment.
