Joe Waller currently serves as a Float Counselor in the Young Men’s Program at Cumberland Heights, a role he began in 2024. With a transition to Primary Counselor on the horizon, Joe brings both passion and professional training to his work supporting young men in recovery.
He holds a BA in Psychology from Belmont University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado State University. Joe was drawn to addiction treatment after witnessing its impact on family and friends—some of whom received life-changing care at Cumberland Heights. That personal connection inspired him to give back by joining the very team that made a difference in his loved ones’ lives.
A Nashville native, Joe enjoys hiking, movies, concerts, sporting events, and cooking for family and friends. He finds deep fulfillment in helping patients achieve their goals and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
