She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she completed a court advocacy internship at Metro Nashville’s Family Safety Center. She later earned her Master’s in Social Work with a clinical concentration and trauma treatment certificate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Her interest in addiction treatment began in graduate school, fueled by a deep curiosity about how family systems and environments shape people’s lives. Kira finds fulfillment in witnessing the hope, resilience, and joy that emerge in recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring new coffee shops.
