Mike Moody serves as the Residential Clinical Supervisor on weekends at Cumberland Heights and has been a dedicated member of the team since 2014. Over the years, he has held numerous roles, including Primary Counselor in the First Step Program, Case Manager in Men’s and Professionals/Extended Care, and Clinical Supervisor in both evening and women’s programs. His broad experience across levels of care gives him a well-rounded perspective in supporting both patients and staff.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Addictions Counseling, which he earned later in life while working as a Medical Assistant. His path into the field was inspired by his own long-term recovery journey, which began in 1994.
He finds the most fulfillment in witnessing the transformation of patients as they rediscover hope and freedom. Outside of work, Mike enjoys riding his motorcycle, working on his property, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and their three cats.
