Misha Laster, MS, MCC, LPC-MHSP

Primary Counselor

Misha Laster serves as a Primary Counselor in the Women’s Program at Cumberland Heights and has been a valued member of the team for over three years. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) designation. Misha also earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Belmont University, originally planning a career in athletic training.

Her passion for addiction treatment is rooted in personal experience. As the adult child of an alcoholic and a dysfunctional family system, Misha was drawn to understanding the impact of addiction and supporting those affected. She is committed to helping individuals and families heal, offering compassion, education, and hope throughout their recovery journeys.

Misha is a proud mother to her seven-year-old son. In her free time, she enjoys reading thrillers and romance novels, watching movies, and creating digital mental health resources.
