Robert Matson serves as an IOP Counselor for the Still Waters Men’s Program at Cumberland Heights. He previously worked as a Case Manager in the Men’s Program, bringing valuable experience and continuity of care to his current role. Robert holds a bachelor’s degree and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC).
Robert was inspired to work in addiction treatment because recovery transformed his own life. Having experienced that change firsthand, he is passionate about helping others who feel the same desperation he once did. He has a deep appreciation for both the recovery community and the professionals who dedicate themselves to this work out of a genuine belief in healing and hope.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys time with his growing family and is a proud new grandparent. Fun fact: he can ride a unicycle!
