Ryan Smith joined Cumberland Heights in 2021 as a Videographer and Content Coordinator, using his storytelling skills to support the mission of addiction recovery. With a background in broadcast journalism and a B.S. in Communication, Ryan previously worked in television, where his talent for visual storytelling earned him an Emmy while at Nashville’s NBC affiliate, WSMV.

Passionate about making an impact, Ryan saw this role as an opportunity to use his creative expertise to help battle addiction by sharing powerful recovery stories. He finds fulfillment in connecting with people at Cumberland Heights and within Nashville’s recovery community, amplifying messages of hope and transformation through his work.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family. He is happily married with two children and a dog, embracing both his professional and personal life with creativity and passion.
