Sarah Gary serves as the Outpatient Clinical Director at Cumberland Heights, bringing a passion for recovery and years of clinical experience to her leadership role. She joined the organization in 2021 as a float counselor, moved into a primary counselor role in 2023, and stepped into her current position in 2025.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee. She has been practicing since 2017 and was drawn to the field through personal experience—her own family’s struggles with addiction inspired her to be the kind of support they once needed.
She finds deep fulfillment in watching lives change, particularly when alumni share sobriety milestones and personal growth. Sarah lives with her husband, Shaun, and their beloved 11-year-old pup, Riley. A huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, she also loves traveling (especially to Ireland), reading, baking, and spending time with her young niece.
