Sarah Shepherd serves as a Concierge Account Manager on the Business Development team at Cumberland Heights. She originally joined the organization in 2008, spending eight years as an Admissions Counselor and Coordinator before returning in 2023. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University, Sarah has extensive experience in addiction treatment, previously working as a Strategic Account Manager at JourneyPure for five years.

Sarah’s passion for addiction recovery is deeply personal, having grown up around family members struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. She finds immense fulfillment in witnessing the transformations of those who enter treatment at their lowest point and later rebuild their lives, restoring relationships, health, and hope.

Outside of work, Sarah is a proud dog mom to her pup, Dansby. She loves spending time with him and is dedicated to helping others find healing and recovery, just as she has seen firsthand.
