Covid-19 Protocols and Practices are Evolving
One year into the pandemic, Director of Nursing Dana Mires shares some new safety practices being implemented on the Cumberland Heights campus.
We now have the capability to provide onsite PCR molecular testing for patients and staff on our main residential campus as well as ARCH Academy. This advanced testing provides results within 30-45 minutes, allowing us to know in real time if an admitting patient, current patient or staff member has been infected with the virus.
We are encouraging staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. As of March 1, 2021 more than half our staff were fully vaccinated. Many more have received their first dose.
We have adjusted our air purification systems throughout all of our buildings. All air now passes through a UV process, eliminating up to 99% bacteria and virus particles.
We are committed to making sure those struggling with substance use disorder can begin the recovery process in a safe, healthy manner.
